It is sobering to realize that I am competing with the entire world.  My rates for web development are low because I work remote and compete with people from India.  But in other areas I am too.  When I post something on the Halfbakery I’m competing with every like-minded person in the world.  When I post on a subreddit I’m doing the same.  The upshot of this is bands are also doing this so they make their work available internationally.  So I’m really getting into a South African band called KONGOS.  I found them on a subreddit (I think AlternativeRock) via a Spotify app.
