high

People (unless they see a use for or have an obligation toward me) are always trying to get out of conversations with me. This is very understandable as the content of what I say is often what they are not allowed to hear. For example I think for 90% of the population, sex, drugs, and alcohol are the only route to at least periods of happiness (those top 10% high enough in society can get their high by being better than everyone else). People say religion makes you happy but you have to put forth so much effort playing cognitive tricks (and not be conscious of playing said cognitive tricks) that for most people religion doesn’t give a noticeable boost of happiness. Drugs and alcohol are like a motorcycle and religion is like a bike. The latter you have to put forth effort to make work, even if you aren’t allowed to believe said effort is coming from yourself.
